Today is World Food Day 2026, with this year’s theme set by FAO as “innovating today, nourishing tomorrow“.
It’s a theme close to our hearts at the Open Food Network, as a proudly open-source ethical software platform designed to connect food producers directly to their communities and working globally across over 20 countries to date.
To mark the innovative role that our open-source ethical software platform plays in connecting food producers with communities, we asked food producers across the UK to share why they choose the Open Food Network to help them nourish their local communities.
